I just heard the recording of Monday nights RACES net lead by humpty dumpty Gerry Dalton, W5MAY, and what can I say, PRICELESS.
And let me tell everyone this, this will continue until certain people are removed from RACES, mainly Gerry Dalton(W5MAY), Trey Shannon (W5JOT), Greg Guthrie (N5NGO), Jeff Burns (NI5Q), Hy Siegel (K9CCN), and anyone else that supports Gerry and Trey.
For a moment, RACES was fixing to have hope. RACES was fixing to get a Coordinator that would of made changes in the organization for the good. But that Coordinator had to step down unexpectedly. And I think the MAIN reason was because there are people in the RACES leadership group that want to control RACES and want one of their people as coordinator. That's not going to happen. Not as long I am alive.
Gery Dalton made a request about the next Skywarn school location. Having it at TCU. If RACES wanted it back at TCU to send a letter to Juan requesting that.
I HAVE A BETTER IDEA.
If you want a BETTER RACES, and if you want ALL THIS SHIT to stop on the net, then I suggest you send a letter, email, or call Juan Ortiz, DEMANDING the removal of Gerry Dalton, Trey Shannon and ANYONE else who s supports them. Matter of fact, the leadership group just needs to be shut down for now.
Because I will tell you, as long as Gerry Dalton, Trey Shannon, Greg Guthrie, Jeff Burns, Hy Siegel, and all their buddies, remain in RACES and in leadership, there will remain compromise on the nets. And it can not be stopped. There are to many people involved in making sure that Gerry Dalton and Trey Shannon are removed from RACES.
And Keith Wells, if you are reading this, if you are in ANY PART, supporting these individuals and standing behind them, so help me God, you will regret it.
These people need to GO!!! Ever since these people have taken over RACES they have done nothing but destroy it. So Keith Wells, get off your political ass, WAKE UP, and remove these people from RACES, and watch a DRAMATIC, POSITIVE change happen in RACES. And if you cant, well, maybe Juan can.
And honestly, I think we should just go straight to Juan Ortiz. I have this strange feeling Keith Wells is in it with Gerry Dalton and Trey Shannon. Juan needs to know about Treys little "ALAMO" at 2900 Bledsoe St, where Im sure there are lots of STOLEN radio equipment there.
There is a conspiracy going on here folks, with Trey Shannon and Gerry Dalton, and they are using RACES as a cover up.
So me and my group are going to do whatever it takes to break them up and have them removed from RACES.
So if you are tired of the BS in RACES, you can blame it on Gerry Dalton, Trey Shannon, Greg Guthrie, Jeff Burns, Hy Siegel and anyone else that is a part of their group.
So send your frustrations to Juan Ortiz, Fort Worth EMC. Dont go to Keith Wells anymore, he cant be trusted. Lets start going to Juan.

I think everyone here should take your advice, at least part of it. Everyone here should write Juan Ortiz and demand that he back amateur radio operators effort to locate, identify and back FCC prosecution of the jammer.
save the tax payers money and the governmental resources on trying to find the jammers and just get rid of the real problems, Trey and Gerry and all this will go away and RACES and 94 will be back to normal. Try it, I bet it will work.

ReplyDeleteWe live in a world to where the FW SR EMC is so damn POLITICAL and BLIND, that they dont see the real problem out there. He would rather turn his head and look the other way. There have been SOOOOO many complaints about Trey and Gerry that the EMC's wont do a damn thing about it. Do whats right, get rid of them, and restore RACES back to the way it was. If you get rid of the problems in THAT leadership group, and appoint new leaders, you will see the problems go away. We almost had a coordinator that was fixing to get rid of them but was threaten by this group that he stepped down. Now thats not right. Trey and Gerry are trying to run RACES themselves. So, its time to get rid of them. They do not need to be in any type of leadership role. Let me ask you this, when was the last time you went to a RACES leadership meeting? They dont want REGULAR members there, they just want there own people there. And Keith Wells wont do a damn thing about it. So Juan, if you are listening, PLEASE HELP. there are some good RACES members out there that are being shut out by Trey and Gerry and the rest of his buddies. THEY NEED TO GO!!!

ReplyDeleteThere are lots of problems out there that many members don't know about, dont care to know about, too stupid to see it, or they are part of the Trey crew and they think there are no problems.
I have gone to Keith Wells and Juan Ortiz about these issues and its going to take more than one voice to make any changes.
And to correct you, Keith Wells and Juan Ortiz do know about this blog, and they do read it, along with many other EMC's.
It was this blog that put the pressure on Andy Kitzman and forced him to step down as the RACES coordinator.
Many don't know this but Andy Kitzman along with Trey, were taking advantage of RACES in many ways, one of those was the misuse of government grants (radios). Thats why Trey and Gerry and their buddies cant be trusted.
And we almost had a coordinator that was fixing to make change in RACES (Jan 2011), for the better, possibly get rid of Trey and Gerry and form a new, much bettter leadership, but was threaten by Trey and Gerry and couldnt put of with their bullshit and stepped down. Thats not right.
All they care about are themselves, not the RACES members.
Just like Treys little hideout called the Alamo. There are things in that facility that Im sure law enforcement would like to see.
Bottom line is that if we want change in RACES, if we want to get RACES back to belonging to the members, not just a selected group of people, then we need to voice our opinions, and that needs to go to Juan. Because honestly, I think Keith Wells is supporting Trey and his buddies. And I know for a fact Juan cant stand Trey and Gerry.
So if there is nothing wrong in RACES, then why cant all RACES members go to the leadership meetings? How about we all go down and take a look of whats indside that alamo of Treys.
You cant trust Trey and Gerry. They will stab you in the back at any moment. They are not your friend. They may act like it, but Trey and Gerry will turn on you very quickly.
And others that had complained and went to Keith Wells as an individual somehow disappeared from RACES. Because if the complaints were about Treys and Andys group, they didnt want to hear about it.
But if we voice our opinions as a group, and put the pressure on them, we can make a change.
But if you like your current leaders, well, good for you. Then you are a Trey and Gerry buddy I guess.
This has been going on for way too long now and its the same stupid ass leadership group that has destroyed RACES and has caused the problems it has now.
If you wont do it for yourself, or do it for RACES, to help make a change, voice your opinion to Juan, hell, maybe even the Fire Chief, then do it for the late Lamar Pounds, KA5NGG. He knew how to run RACES and did it well. He knew how to take care of the members of RACES and make it the best organization for the members.

If you can prove or at least get close to proving what you suggest is happening then do it. BTW, how much money do you think is allocated to RACES in the first place?
